The Mission of Italy in Geneva joined on 27 June 2022 the webinar organised by the Italian section of ALAI (Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale) on the topic of the application of alternative dispute resolution methods in case of removal of user-generated and shared content from online sharing platforms (see attached programme).
The programme also included a presentation of the activities and services of the WIPO Mediation Centre in relation to copyright, as well as the AGCOM (Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni) Guidelines and Regulation on the application of the EU Copyright Directive in the Single Digital Market.
ALAI lists among its aims the defence, development and dissemination of the legal principles that ensure the protection of copyright and related rights, also by supporting the study and comparison of the relevant national legislations, as well as the progress and extension of the scope of application of the International Conventions, in particular in cooperation with the national sections of ALAI and WIPO.
