On the occasion of the 85th session of the Administrative Committee of the Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR Carnets (TIR Convention), elections for the renewal of the TIR Executive Board were held in Geneva on February 5.
The Permanent Mission of Italy expresses its satisfaction with the re-election of Mr. Marco Ciampi, an official of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, as a member of the TIR Executive Board for the 2025-2027 term. Mr. Ciampi’s re-election, having already served in previous mandates, was achieved thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Customs and Monopolies Agency, in support of a candidate with recognized expertise and qualifications.
