The Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in Geneva, Amb. Gian Lorenzo Cornado, hosted in his Residence the representatives of Bhutan, Niger and Tuvalu that are taking part to the work of the Human Rights Council through the support of the UN Trust Fund to Support the Participation of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the work of the HRC.
On that occasion, Ambassador Cornado stressed the continous engagement of Italy to favor the universal participation to the work of the Human Rights Council and expressed his appreciation for the Fund thar, since its creation, supported over 100 delegates from SIDs and LDCs. The Permanent Representative of Gibuti to the United Nations in Geneva, Amb. Khadra Ahmed Hassan, the Honorary Consul of Saint Kitts and Navis, Steven Goldstein, in Geneva and representatives of OHCHR also took part in the event.
