The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, through the Africa Fund, has arranged to allocate 1,118,700 euros to the World Health Organization (WHO) to boost healthcare assistance to the migrants held in camps in Libya. The “Enhancing Diagnosis and Treatment for Migrants in detention centers in Libya” project will focus its activities on the communities in Tripoli and Benghazi and in the Country’s southern regions near the border with Niger and Chad. The project will also include specialised training for healthcare workers, supplying advanced diagnostics instruments and the purchase of medicines.
