The 8th of March is dedicated to the International Women’s Day, an occasion for celebrating the acts of courage and strength of ordinary women that played an extraordinary role for advancing their societies and communities.
The 8th of March is also a day for reflecting on progresses achieved by womnen and thanks to the contribution of women and an occasion to discuss on the challenges that remain to be faced for achieving full social parity.
It is with this spirit that the United Nations celebrate the International Women’s Day, dedicated, in 2019, to the theme “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”.
