Inauguration of the exhibit “Dancer inside”

The Permanent Representative of Italy, Amb. Gian Lorenzo Cornado, and the General Director of the United Nations of Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya, inaugurated  “Dancer Inside Geneva” at the Palais des Nations, an exhibition of photographs by the architect Simone Ghera who combined the art of dance and architecture.

Over the past decade, the artist has nurtured this project that compares different languages, styles, expressions and cultures, with the aim of combining architecture and dance, two arts that are hardly part of the same dialogue.

The line, the centrality of the person, the search for perfection and the sense of construction are for architect Ghera universal languages that intersect, cross and influence each other.”Finding universality in diversity” stressed Director Valovaya, is “the true spirit of the United Nations”.
