Starting from February 16, 2021, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will offer the first series of webinars on the Lisbon System for the registration and international protection of designations of origin and geographical indications.
The webinars will gradually introduce participants to the Lisbon System, explaining the procedures for filing the application and effectively managing the international registration of designations of origin and geographical indications, exploring the legal and socio-economic advantages of their protection and marketing.
Three modules will be organized in presence, with the opportunity to interact directly with WIPO experts and get answers to questions.
Registration is now open for the first two sessions in English on February 16 and March 9, 2021.
