The President of the Council of Ministers had a telephone conversation today with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), António Vitorino.
The conversation focused on the consolidated cooperation between Italy and the IOM in managing migration flows in the Central Mediterranean and in particular in Libya and the Sahel.
The humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and the cooperation in the framework of the Italian National Plan for Afghanistan were also discussed.
