The Conference of Italian Ambassadors in the World opens today at the Farnesina. “Italian diplomacy in the service of the country in a changing world” is this year’s topic. The event brings together over 100 heads of Italian diplomatic missions throughout the world.
The Conference provides an opportunity to discuss the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and its diplomatic-consular network, and the tools available to them, in supporting Italy in promoting our national interests in the world, in line with Euro-Atlantic principles and values.
The proceedings will take place behind closed doors. Some sessions, however, will be open to media participation (photographers and camera operators in the International Conference Room; journalists in the Aldo Moro Room with audio-video links).
