Minister Antonio Tajani takes part in the commemoration of the Remembrance Day at Palazzo del Quirinale.


The celebration of the “Remembrance Day” was held at the Quirinale Palace in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

The ceremony, presented by actress Viola Graziosi, was opened by the screening of the docufilm entitled “Kevina Jama – La Foiba Grande,” followed by an interview with the protagonist Ms Alessandra Rivaroli.

Speakers included Professor Giuseppe de Vergottini, President of the Federation of Associations of Istrian, Fiuman and Dalmatian Exiles, Historian Davide Rossi, Professor of History and Technique of European Constitutions at the University of Trieste, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
