Undersecretary of State Della Vedova at the 34th session of the Human Rights Council

Undersecretary of State at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova, took part to the High Level Segment of the 34th session of the Human Rights Council.

In his statement to the Assembly, special attention has been paid to the Syrian crisis and to the need to achieve Libya’s stabilization. Religious freedom, moratory on death penalty, migration flows, promotion and protection of women’s and children’s rights are the other themes at the heart of Italy’s action to defend human rights which have been highlighted by Undersecretary of State Della Vedova.
