WTO – DG Azevedo confirmed by acclamation for a second term

WTO General Council confirmed by acclamation DG Azevedo (Brazil) for a second four-year term, beginning on September 1st 2017.

Azevedo is committed to further strengthen the multilateral trade system, with particular attention to small actors (SMEs), partially excluded until today from the benefits of trade liberalization.
