Italy supported the importance of an inclusive process for the definition of adequate mechanisms of responsibility-sharing, the need to broaden the number of countries offering quotas for resettlement and the opportunity for the GCR to look also at mixed flows of refugees and migrants to promote their human rights.
UNHCR is going to present a new text, shaped on the indications of the States, ahead of the resumption of the consultations (next 12-13th June).
