The Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, Amb. Gian Lorenzo Cornado, met today with Executive Director of ITC (International Trade Center), Arancha Gonzales.
During the meeting, the Executive Director highlighted Italian expertise and professional contribution to the ITC’s activities.
The cooperation with ITC is built on pilot projects in the South East Asia and in sub-saharan Africa, and specific cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Economic Developments for public-private partnerships supporting export.
Ambassador Cornado hightlighted how the importance of the Organization’s mandate and the professionalism and dynamism of its Executive Director make of ITC one of Italy’s main partners in the current phase of crisis of the multilateral trade system.
