  • “Farnesina Prize – Italian bilateral scientific cooperation award” 2024

The award, now in its sixth edition, is for Italian researchers under 35 and will be bestowed to an Italian scientist currently active in the country where he or she works, who has distinguished himself or herself for his or her contribution to bilateral scientific cooperation in any field of science and technology.

Nominations will be reviewed by a scientific committee consisting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, and the Presidents of Research Centers and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).

Applications should be sent to rappoi.ginevra@esteri.it  no later than January 8, 2024.

  • “L’innovazione che parla italiano” Award.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and PNICube, the Italian Association of University Incubators and Local Academic Business Plan Competitions, announce the sixth edition of the “L’innovazione che parla italiano” Award, in recognition of the high innovative value of Technological Startups operating abroad and founded by Italian citizens.

The prize will be awarded to the winning Startup at the next edition of the Scientific Attaché Conference, which will take place in 2024 in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

  • “Science, She Says!” Award.

The “Science, She Says!” Award, now in its second year, will be awarded to five young foreign female researchers under 40 from as many geographical areas who have conducted their research in one of the following regions: Africa and the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Central and South America and the Caribbean, and North America.

The winners, one for each of the five geographic areas, will be selected by a jury composed of representatives from leading public research institutions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, and the Presidents of Research Centers and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).

Nominations should be sent to rappoi.ginevra@esteri.it  no later than January 8, 2024.
