On 19 November the 2024 edition of the traditional bazaar promoted by the United Nations Women Guild (UNWG) took place at the Palais des Nations. A major annual event in the context of UN charitable initiatives, this year’s edition was aimed at raising funds to finance educational projects for children in various developing countries. The event was attended by over a thousand visitors, with the participation of around one hundred exhibiting countries, offering typical national handicrafts and cuisine.
As in previous editions, the Italian stand was a remarkable success, presenting excellent clothing and knitwear, as well as renowned food and wine products typical of the Mediterranean diet. All the items were made available free of charge by numerous national companies willing to contribute to a solidarity initiative.
The high appreciation for our country enabled the donation of a significant contribution to UNWG, positioning Italy once again this year among the bazaar’s major donor countries. Sincere thanks therefore go to the generous sponsors who represented ‘Made in Italy’ in its essential components of creativity and social responsibility.
